We joined up with [friends] and their guests and we all remarked later how much fun we had!!! Sorry we couldn't stay for the music, but we did have a great time while we were there and the food was adventurous!! Thanks again to the efficient staff. (Sip 'n Slide) --Paula Anderson, 8/31/2009 Ms. Schlegel, I wanted to relay my sincere thanks and appreciation for the recent fine hospitality provided by your staff to me and my family as a reciprocal club member of the Bull and Bear Club. This spans from the original reservation process coordinated by Ms. Epes and Ms. Davidson to the warm hosting of our Saturday evening dinner by Ms. McGee. With our son being a freshman at VMI, we were in Lexington this past Saturday for family weekend and took the opportunity to "get out of town" to have dinner at your club and I have to say that it was exactly what we needed in the way of atmosphere, food, and service. Everyone could not have been nicer and the relaxing, inviting environment made for good "back together" conversation. The wait staff too was great and the food definitely delicious. In addition to our family of six, we brought along a freshman guest from Hollins whose family was not able to make the trip from Florida for her birthday last week and your kitchen came through here as well with a candle for the dessert.
